Marathon Monday was started in 2012 by Patrick Law & Dylan Thornborough who set out to play 99 holes in one day to raise funds for cancer research. They ended up playing 126 holes and raising $5,800.To date, Patrick, Dylan and the Marathon Monday supporters have raised $115,247.

This year marks Marathon Monday's 12th year of fundraising and Patrick & Dylan are calling on participants from across Canada to take to a course of their choosing for their own "Marathons" and raise as much money as they can in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. On Monday, July 10th, Patrick and Dylan will be doing the original Marathon Monday, playing from sun up to sun down in an effort to beat their 217 hole record set last year.
