Welcome to my fundraising page!
Hello, I am running the Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon on November 11th 6 months after my dad passed. In memory of my dad and brother who both passed away in the past year. I am a Cancer Fighter. I am taking action to change the future of this disease for my friends, family and Canadians nationwide. I am raising awareness and funds for the fight against cancer. I hope I can count on your support!
My favourite police officer is my dad Sgt Glen Baillie of Toronto Police Force. Dad lost his fight fo to Covid, although he had a reoccurring melanoma. My dad is all about community service, education and awareness. If I raise $946.88 I will shave off my beard. That is my dads police badge #946 and age at passing 88.
I have always crossed the finish line saying that is for you dad and then called dad to tell him what I did. This year will be different because I can not call him. Although he will be in many of our memories. Dad always had a back up plan, so mine will be if I raise $9468.88 I will shave off my beard and head.
Please donate today and help me reach my fundraising goal! The money raised will help Canada’s brightest researchers make groundbreaking discoveries, provide cancer patients with much-needed support services and ensure that other life-changing work is possible.
Your generosity will help the Canadian Cancer Society continue to make the most impact, against the most cancers, in the most communities across the country.
Make your donation online – it’s fast, secure and will reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer.
