Penny Mountain Coins for Cancer- In Memory of my dad , Charles Mustard
Penny Mountain Coins for Cancer - In memory of my dad , Charlie Mustard.
Thank you for visiting this page, I so appreciate you taking the time to learn about the story behind this fundraiser and why it holds such a special place in my heart.
My Dad, Charles Mustard, passed away from Leukemia on Feb. 20,1995 just before his 66 birthday (March 31) I wanted to do something in his memory and decided that even if I just collected pennies, it could make a difference. And so, just like that, Penny Mountain was born. In our first year we collected over 89,000 pennies! Since beginning this fundraiser, we have donated $27, 011.81. Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
Dad was known as a man who loved the water, he was an avid fisherman, a carpenter who could build anything, a hardworking custodian, a loving husband, a good neighbour, and the best Dad and Poppa. He was dedicated to his family and someone we could all count on.
This year will be the first year we are taking the fundraiser online. Donating online is easy and you will get a tax receipt for any donation $20 or over. Thank you for helping me with something that I'm so passionate about for it is through the generosity of family, friends and community that makes this all possible.
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal.
