Supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors and honouring the taken.
We have all heard of the statistic that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer or that everyone will be impacted by cancer in their lifetime. My story is no different. On March 18, 2016, I lost my grandfather due to multiple complications, one of them being leukemia. To honour my late grandfather, for the past 15 months, I have been growing my hair for donation to a foundation called "Chai Lifeline Canada". I am proud to announce that my hair is now the required length and will be used to create a wig for a child suffering from hair loss due to chemotherapy. Since I have reached the last month of growing my hair, I have organized a small fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. I am hoping to raise $5,000 for leukemia research and supporting programs. Hit the blue donate button to be a part of my journey. Thank you for your support!
Proceeds from my fundraiser will support Leukemia
