Welcome to my fundraising page!
Dear Potential Donor,
I am Eva Knelsen also known as Driverette and I am a truck driver for West Coast Transportation. The truck previous to the current one I drive was build because Don English's close acquaintance was diagnosed and lost her battle to Breast Cancer. It was a 2018 Kenworth W900L. The day before the 2017 Trucking for a Cure Convoy we debuted the matching 2018 Wabash trailer. The truck has won multiple awards at shows across Canada and the United States. The current truck is a 2021 Kenworth W900L still pulling the 2018 Wabash trailer across Canada and the United States.
Been driving for over 14 years but have only been raising money for Breast Cancer for the past 4 years. This year's fundraiser is a little more personal to me, I lost my mother on April 30, 2021 to cancer and recently was informed my niece Charity Boldt has also been diagnosed. I am looking to raise $20,000 to participate in the Trucking for a Cure convoy in Woodstock Ontario Canada.
So far I've raised over $5000 but I need a little more to hit my goal.
That's why I'm inviting you! Will you support me and my cause? Just a small donation of $100 can help me and will also give you a chance to win a gift basket with Breast Cancer merchandise, which includes a die cast model of the truck and trailer, tshirts, travel mugs, $100 gift card to Iowa 80 and more. It's approximate value is $300. For every $100 donation, will give you an extra chance in the raffle. In the past, I'd sell tshirts to help raise money but due to the COVID pandemic, it's been difficult to get shirts printed. That's the reason for this gift basket. I understand times are difficult but it's a chance for you to win an amazing basket and your donation will go towards Cancer Research. For donations over $20, you will receive a receipt for tax deductible contribution.
These days everyone is connected to cancer in one form or another. It's a terrible disease that has hit so many people, mine included.
If you would like to participate or attend Trucking for a Cure, it will be held in October at the TA truck stop in Woodstock Ontario Canada. You can also visit Trucking for a Cure on Facebook for more details.
Thank you in advance for your contributions. You have no idea how much it means to me to have your support. Here is a link for you to make a donation: http://support.cancer.ca/goto/driverette2021
Make your donation online, it's free, secure and will reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer.
