Merivale & Wellington Daffodil Cancer Fundraiser
It looks like Spring is finally here and we at Merivale & Wellington Vision Care could not be more excited!
Merivale & Wellington Vision Care has decided to host a fundraiser to help the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) during their April Daffodil Month campaign. The Canadian Cancer Society saw an $80 million dollar loss in revenue last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic which effects their research and support programs.
To keep each other safe and follow public health guidelines, CCS has had to go virtual with this year's Daffodl Campaign and are not abe to hold in-person fundraisers, sell daffodil pins, fresh flowers or canvass door-to-door, which means Canadian Cancer Society's annual fundraising continues to suffer.
This cause is very near and dear to us. To help mitigate the significant losses CSS is facing and continues to face, our teams at Merivale & Wellington Vision Care will be donating $4 from each complete eye exam performed at either location and also collecting direct donations through this fundraising website. Seeing that a stagering 225,000 Canadians were diagnosed last year alone, we felt it was time to support a cause that needs our help!
How can you support this fundraiser?
- Book an eye exam in the month of April at either Merivale or Wellington Vision Care
- Make a donation using the "Donate" button on this fundraising page
Please help our team reach our fundraising goal of $4,000 to support cancer research and support programs. Together we are bigger than cancer!
Thank you so much for your support!

Proceeds from our fundraiser will support the fight against cancer
