Annual Brian Sippel Memorial Co-Ed Slo-Pitch Tournament
21 years the Sippel Family have supported the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Brian Sippel, who passed away from cancer at the age of 35 with a memorial slo-pitch tournament on Labour Day weekend. In 21 years, this incredible family has raised over $314,634 to cancer research unfortunately COVID-19 has forced us to cancel the tournament this year but we believe that a global pandemic doesn't stop Cancer from affecting people and this is one way we can continue our efforts in the fight to find a cure. Even though we won't be able to get together and play some baseball, enjoy a beverage or take part in any of the extras that the tournament has entertained everyone with for the past 21 years we can still make a difference by donating.
Please donate today and help us reach our fundraising goal! The money raised will help Canada’s brightest researchers make groundbreaking discoveries, provide cancer patients with much-needed support services and ensure that other life-changing work is possible.
A message to our generous donors, "This year will be a trying year for many financially, from the bottom of our hearts, we THANK YOU". Your generosity will fund innovative research, provide vital support services to cancer patients and help change lives.
Make your donation online – it’s fast, secure and will reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer.
Proceeds from my fundraiser will support Support programs such as transportation to treatment or accommodations near medical centres for out-of-town patients
