Welcome to On Board 2020!
Get ready for On Board 2020!
On Sunday July 19th, grab a paddle and join Maddi and her family (in spirit) on the Welland Canal to raise funds for brain cancer research in honour of Julia Turner, Lynn Lambert, Dalton Jacques and McKenna Modler. To continue the tradition of On Board, Maddi and her family will be paddling 5km's down the Welland Canal to continue supporting brain cancer research while honouring those mentioned above! Anyone is welcome to come out on Sunday, July 19, watch and walk alongside the banks of the former canal as the family paddles, but are asked to maintain at least a two-metre social distance.

On Board is an annual Stand Up Paddle board fundraiser that was founded in 2014. On Board is a SUP ride that takes place on the Welland Canal in Welland Ontario Canada. The annual event raises funds for brain cancer research with the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of Julia Turner, Lynn Lambert, Dalton Jacques and McKenna Modler. 2020 will mark On Board’s seventh year. In 2019 On Board saw over 200 participants come to the Welland Canal, which included 102 paddlers on the water. There were many difficult changes that had to happen this year due to COVID-19, but that won't stop the Leblanc's from continuing to support brain cancer research. Your support for our fundraiser means the world to us and hopefully we can all be together on the water again next year!
