Williams Light Show 2020

Our family has chosen to once again accept donations on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The Williams Light Show presentation started out years ago on a much smaller scale ; at my Grandmas house-Lois Williams. Each year , we added more lights and eventually the music. My Grandma loved seeing the people come and enjoy the display. After her lung cancer diagnosis and a strong fight, there came a time when she began to weaken. At this point she had to sell her home. I wanted to keep our tradition going, so we moved it to our house in 2017. As the crowds grew larger, I wanted to do more – that’s when we decided to accept donations towards a cause.
I will always associate Christmas with my Grandma. She received so much joy within, by being able to give to her loved ones. It made her happy to make others happy. The twinkling lights of Christmas represent her twinkling personality. She was an amazing woman and inspiration to all. My Grandma lost her battle to cancer in May 2018, but she didn’t give up easily!
Each year ,the Williams Light Show is dedicated in memory of this wonderful soul. In 2018/2019 We have proudly raised a total of $7634.18 for the Cancer Society through donations from people coming to watch the show. We are hoping for another successful season of giving in 2020.
Our Memory Board in honour of those who suffer; or have passed away from cancer has been signed by many at the 2018/19 Light Shows as well as the Relay For Life in June 2019.. This has been donated to the Cancer Society in hopes to display at local events. We have a new way to honour and remember our loved ones this year.
We hope the Show brings you joy and happiness during this very different and difficult year.
From our family to yours; we thank you for your support.
May your lights always twinkle.....
