Nearly half of Canadians will face cancer in their lifetime, making it a reality that touches us all. For me, it’s personal—my mom’s journey showed me how tough resilience can be, and how far simple acts of kindness can go. Her strength taught me that even in the hardest times, support and compassion can make all the difference.

I Relay in her memory to honour her legacy and to help other families find the support, hope, and strength they need. Every step, every donation, and every act of kindness matters—not just for those living with cancer now, but also for those we’ve lost and those we’re striving to protect in the future.

My mom showed me the power of finding light in the darkest times. Together, we can make the fight against cancer a little easier, a little brighter, and a lot more hopeful.
