So many of us have been affected by cancer. Some of us have family members, friends, and colleagues who have had cancer. Some of us have had cancer ourselves.

I have heard so many stories of those who have beat cancer and from those who have lost loved ones. I have loved ones who have had cancer, who have beat it, and some who have passed away from cancer. As a Health Science student, I learn about cancer as a disease all the time. The thing is, cancer is so much more than just a disease. It tries to tear us apart, to make us feel isolated and afraid.

I'm here to stand up to cancer, to make sure that no one is fighting cancer alone.

Relay for Life not only funds life-saving treatment as well as research, it also helps provide services for those affected by cancer. Relay funds programs that help people attend treatment, places where people can reach out for support and so much more.

Relay is so much more than one night, it is truly a chance to change people's lives forever.

With this, I hope you will donate whatever you can so we can make sure no one has to face cancer alone.
