I am thrilled to be the Chair of Participant Engagement for Carleton's 15th year putting on Relay for Life events. I have been passionate and involved in Relay for Life for 8 years, and am thrilled to be taking the largest leadership role for my last year at Carleton. This cause is something I want to continue supporting, as everyone knows someone who has had or been impacted by this disease. 

This year, I am relaying for my strong Thea Lolita, Bill Forbes, as well as my cousin's Papou Yiannis, who are all currently undergoing cancer treatments. I want to recognize the people in my life that are currently living passed their cancer diagnosis', and are cancer free. My best friend's mom, Cindy, one of my mom's best friends, Denise, my Thea Joyce, my childhood best friend's Papa, Stu. I also had a few friends in high school who lost parents to this disease, and I think about them often when I am working with the CCS.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
