Cancer is something that touches nearly everyone’s life in some way. Whether it’s family, friends, or loved ones, too many people know the pain of seeing someone they care about suffer from this disease. Personally, I’ve witnessed firsthand the toll it takes on individuals and their families. I wanted to take action, to not just stand by and feel helpless, but to do something tangible to make a difference.

That’s why I decided to create a team for Relay for Life. I wanted to be part of a movement that brings together communities in the fight against cancer. It’s not just about raising money—though that’s crucial for funding research and treatments—it’s about showing support for those affected. Each dollar raised, every step we take, and every hour we spend walking together sends a message that we’re united in this fight.

Relay for Life is more than just an event. It’s an opportunity for people to come together and honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and raise awareness for the ongoing battle.
