“Why Relay?” is a question we ask a lot as part of Relay for Life. Everyone has their own reasons, but ultimately they dwindle down to “I want to make a difference.” What difference are we making with Relay? We’re providing support for patients undergoing treatment. We’re providing support for survivors. We’re providing a home away from home for patients and their families so patients can get the life-saving treatment they need. We’re providing a future for the 2 in 5 Canadians who will be diagnosed with cancer, and we’re funding research to make that number smaller. That’s why we Relay.
