Cancer is a battle that has deeply impacted my family and friend's lives. It has changed my life in ways I could have never expected, but it has also given me a new sense of purpose in joining Relay for Life at uOttawa. Both of my Nonna's have been affected by cancer, one who has lost her battle and another who is in the midst of her own fight. 

This is why I’m participating in Relay for Life—because I believe in a future without cancer. A future where families don’t have to say goodbye too soon, where survivors thrive, and where the word “cancer” is no longer filled with fear.
