This year, I hope to raise $1000 for the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of my grandfather. He always believed in giving back to the community in some form, and that even the smallest steps could make a big difference. He was strong, resilient, and always optimistic. My grandfather passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2022.

So this year, I am fundraising to be able to help the people in my life who are going through their own battles and in memory of those we have lost. This will be my 8th year participating with Relay for Life, and I hope that you can help me reach my goal. It doesn’t matter how small the step, it makes a difference. Not only for those living with cancer now, but for those remembering and honouring those we’ve lost. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help make sure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-saving discovery or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.

Cancer does not discriminate - it affects us all. Together, we can make an impact.
