This year I am once again taking part in Relay for Life! Starting in grade 10 I signed up to be apart of the Relay for Life committee to support a cause that affects so many of us every day. 6 years later I have continued my work with Relay for Life and the Canadian Cancer Society in the hopes of creating a world where no one has to fear cancer. My grandma, who has survived cancer more times than I can think of is one of my heros and shows me what is means to be strong everyday. 

With nearly 1 in 2 Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease. My family and friends could be, have been, or are affected. And that makes it personal.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
