2 in 5 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. It is a battle that requires strength, hope and support, millions of canadians are diagnosed with cancer every year, for some like myself it can be close loved ones.

My journey began early in 2024 during my first year of university a very close loved one was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, the most aggressive breast cancer. My world fell apart, words can not desribe how scary the journey was, seeing every part of the treatment journey and how your life can change.

I am grateful every day to have been able to see my loved one get better but that is truly all thanks for the years of research and improvement in technology for cancer patients. My story could have been very different if this was years ago.

No one expects to be diagnosed with a life altering disease but everyone deserves a second chance. It dosen't matter if the donation is big or small, it can make a difference.
