Hello, everyone! My name is Maria-Lucia D’Ambrosio, and I’m honored to be the Sponsorship Captain on Champlain College Saint Lambert’s Relay for Life executive team. I’m reaching out to invite you to join my team, a group dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer.

Nearly everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by cancer. It’s a word that stops us in our tracks, but it’s also a word that fuels us with purpose. Though I haven’t faced cancer myself, I’ve seen its impact on loved ones and felt the ripple of fear and hope that accompanies each diagnosis. This journey, and the people who walk it, inspire me to join the fight and do all I can to help create a future without this disease.

Through Relay for Life, I’m raising funds not only for those bravely living with cancer today, but also for the friends and families who carry memories of those they’ve lost. Together, we’re giving hope to those in the battle now, those who may face it in the future, and those who’ve spent years dedicated to finding a cure.

Whether by registering to walk with us or by making a donation, every contribution—big or small—brings us one step closer to a future without cancer.
