Relay for life is an event that fosters hope in many different ways. It helps bring survivors together, raise awareness for cancer research, and helps families and other participants alike learn that a diagnosis shouldn't define a person's life. The event has helped my family and countless others  find a sense of community through dark times, and I am so happy to play a role in continuing it at McGill and college campuses around Canada. 

It doesn’t matter how small the step, it makes a difference. Not only for those living with cancer now, but for those remembering and honouring those we’ve lost. A donation of $10, $25, $50 or $100 could help make sure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-saving discovery or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
