Back in 2019 my father began his own personal battle with cancer. Despite his healthy lifestyle he ended up developing stage three lung cancer which has since matastisized twice in his brain. He is proof that cancer doesn't care but also proof that you can fight it time and time again and come out on top. In the past I have raised over $1800 through various initiatives like Halifax West HighSchools head for a cure and previous metro uni relay events. Fundraising is important to me as it is one of the only ways I can help my father and others in his situation. I'm over the moon to be fundraising again for a great cause!

With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease. My family and friends could be affected and that makes it personal. 

Please help me reach my fundraising goal for Relay For Life.  It doesn’t matter how small the step, it makes a difference. Not only for those living with cancer now, but for those remembering and honouring those we’ve lost.  A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help make sure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-saving discovery or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
