Cancer is a sickness that has appeared in my family for generations. Many of my family members have fought against cancer. Some resulted in loss, and others emerged victorious. My grandma has won not one but two battles against breast cancer. Breast cancer is hereditary in my family. There is a strong chance that my sister or I might encounter our own fight with cancer at some point in our lives. It is personal, as my family has been and will be impacted. I'm more determined than ever to contribute to changing the course of this disease because I know that someone I love might receive a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime.

I'm fundraising for my family, cancer survivors, cancer patients' families, and all those who have lost their fight with the disease.
