My name is Abbey Janes and I’m a grade 10 student at Holy Heart of Mary High School. Our school is holding our annual Relay for Life fundraiser this year on May 31st to raise as much money as possible for the Canadian Cancer Society. I’m participating in this event and I am also a member of the organizing committee.

With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m determined to do my part to help change the future of this disease. My family and friends could be affected and yours too.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you are able to donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most. Think about the impact we can make together! The more people engaged in fighting against cancer the better so please share this with your friends and family.
