Cancer Can Be Beat

With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease. Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way and we all have our own reasons for wanting to participate in this event. Unfortunately, I had to watch my own daughter Kiera be diagnosed with an endodermal sinus tumour and battle through this terrible disease. Saying that, I am thankful every day that she was one of the lucky ones to beat cancer and I believe our fundraising efforts do help with the advancements made in treatments so that more and more people will continue to beat this disease.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
