I'm deeply honored to share my journey with you as I embark on yet another meaningful participation in Relay For Life. Cancer has left an indelible mark on my life, propelling me to take action and make a difference in the lives of those battling this disease.

For the past few years, I've walked the Relay For Life track, driven by the memory of cherished individuals who fought cancer with unparalleled courage. Their battles compelled me to stand in solidarity with all those touched by cancer.

However, the gravity of cancer struck my family with devastating force. In august 2023 I lost my mother to colon cancer and not long after my grandmother to this illness as well. Witnessing their valiant struggle shattered my heart into a pain I thought me and my family would never have to edure. The pain, the anguish, the helplessness—it's an experience I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

But amidst the darkness, there's hope—a beacon that guides me forward. It's the hope that through our collective efforts, we can drive progress, raise awareness, and fund crucial research to end cancer.

So here I am, with a heart heavy with grief but brimming with determination. I walk not just for my loved ones, but for every individual touched by cancer's cruel hand. Together, let's turn pain into purpose, despair into determination, and loss into legacy.
