Cancer is a disease where abnormal cells in the body start reproducing at an alarming rate, causing tumours and the destruction of normal body tissue. It is the second leading cause of death in the world, with 1 in 2 people getting diagnosed with this horrible disease at some point in their lifetime.

My Oma was diagnosed with uterine cancer when I was young and unfortunately passed away after a long and tedious struggle with chemotherapy. My other grandmother developed blood cancer and luckily received amazing support through her painful war with cancer. Thankfully, she persevered and survived, now testing cancer free. Cancer has impacted my family with its dark and looming touch, and now we try to help others diagnosed in any way possible.
