2 in 5 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer within their lifetime making the disease unfortunately common for both adults and children. As someone who has seen my grandparents go through cancer along going through it myself, supporting Relay for Life becomes more personal. I myself am a cancer survivor, along with my grandparents. After going through cancer I have learned the importance of supporting causes as such to better research, medicines, and support systems and groups for others going through it.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal as any amount can help the cause as every dollar goes a long way. A donation can help in many ways as the money will go towards cancer research and resources doctors need to find life-changing treatments, as well money will go towards patients and their families to ensure they have support during their fight.

It is important to keep in mind that you will never know if someone you love or yourself will get diagnosed in the future. Hope we can all come together and make a difference for the future of cancer research.
