I am running relay for life for a lot of people. I have had lots of family who have unfortunately struggled with cancer. But there is one person who I am specifically running for, my grandmother. Her name was Nanny Joy, and she lived by her name because she most definitely brought joy to anything she would do or anyone she would talk to. Not only was she my grandmother she was also my best friend, and she always took care of me. Sadly, Nanny Joy passed away in 2020 when I was 12. This was extremely hard for me to know I didn't have my person anymore. Nanny Joy always encouraged me to do my best and do what I believe in, so that's what I'm doing. I believe that this would make her very proud and she would love to know I'm doing it for her.

A donation of $5, $10 or $25 could help ensure the team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
