With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease. My family has been affected by cancer, and so have some of my colleagues.

I am a U of A student researching ovarian cancer, the 7th most common cancer in women. Many patients with ovarian cancer fail treatment after a few years, so my lab is trying to find better ways to battle their cancer. With your donations, cancer researchers and students like me can get one step closer to discovering life-saving research!

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure cancer researchers (like ones in the U of A Department of Oncology) have the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
