This year, I'm participating in McMaster's Relay for Life in honour of my late father who recently lost a 17-year battle with cancer. Thanks to the incredible medical care he received throughout his life, and sheer determination, he remained with us long enough to watch my brother and I grow up and spend time with the people he loved. My dad was a caring and hard working individual who always brightened up a room with his sense of humour. His strength and determination throughout his entire life inspires me daily to contribute to a future where all cancer patients have access to the treatment and support services they need, and where everyone who receives a diagnosis gets a second chance at life.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.

Together, we are bigger than cancer.
