Hi everyone! My name is Kalia and I am an advocate for the fight against cancer. For the past 4 years, I have been running Relay For Life events at Castlebrooke in order to promote awareness about the disease and contribute to the end goal of the Canadian Cancer Society: a world where no Canadian has to face cancer alone.

Although I personally have not had cancer, I have expierenced the hardship of seeing a loved one face the life altering disease. My Mom is a cancer survivor and for that reason I fight to ensure that no other individual has to understand what it means to have your world flipped upside down by the thought of loosing a parent.

For those of you who have found my fundraising page, I kindly ask that you donate- even a small amount, to this cause. Every cent counts towards building the promsing research that helps to eradicate cancer.

These donations have helped to save many, including my Mom, but more still needs to be done.
