When my Mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, I had never been so afraid in my whole life. I couldn't fathom a world where my Mom wasn't right beside me, making me the person I am today. Luckily, Mom's stage 4+ cancer was still encapsulated when it was detected and we were some of the lucky ones who got to watch our loved one beat Cancer. I have so many loved ones who haven't been that lucky. The advancements in research and treatment that saved my Mom are because of the generous support of so many Canadians like you. And further advancements could save so many more.
