It has been almost 4 years since my aunt's battle with cancer ended, yet I still think about it almost every day. My aunt was diagnosed in 2017, and she fought down to the last minute. She never gave up, and inspires me to do the same and make a difference in the cancer community. In my heart, she was a survivor, along with everyone else who has dealt with the disease.
Directly or indirectly, everyone is or will be affected by cancer. Cancer does not deserve the power it has, and so we must acknowledge it, and do our part in helping to prevent it. Every donation you make is a step in a positive direction, and will make the lives of many people across the world happier and healthier. Even though the road to a cure is long and painful, we are closer than ever, so let's work together.
