Cancer has or will effect everyone we know in way or another. It is a disease that touches many peoples hearts and will continue to. By raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS)  we are funding the brightest minds in cancer research to improve and save the lives of people with all types of cancer. This year, I made the decision to be an event chair for a Relay for Life event because of how cancer has effected me in my personal life and because I believe in the need to advance this field of research. While my committee and I are working together to make the event possible, we cannot do it without the help of all of you. 

A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help make sure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-saving discovery or a patient has access to support services when they need it most. Thanks to the work of the CCS and donations made by generous people like yourself, today about 64% of Canadians diagnosed with cancer will survive at least 5 years after their diagnosis. By donating you are actively involved in the bettering of many Canadian people fighting cancer.
