Relay for Life holds a special place in my heart as someone who has had close loved ones affected by Cancer. Having personally participated in this inspiring global event in the past, I've experienced the sense of community and kindness it offers. I've had many family members affected by cancer. Most recently, my aunt had been diagnosed with cancer only within the last couple years and that diagnosis had really opened my eyes to what this diease really means and how it affects others. While myself and my family are so greatful that she is a survivor, we've really seen how impactful cancer is. I relay for members of my family and others who have had family members who did not survive.
