Grandpa Bill

Almost 3 years ago I lost my grandfather to cancer. It was a battle he fought for a long time and yet his smile never faltered. Some of my favourite memories of him include how much he loved working in his shop, the time he built me a trophy, the many stories he told at family gatherings and sitting in his truck with him. It always baffled me how such a kindhearted man could be taken by such an aggressive disease. That twinkle in his eye never left and it will always be with me in the tattoo I got in his honour.
