Last year's Lanterns

With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease. Too many people around me have been affected by cancer. Two of my wonderful uncles. An uncle who passed when he was very young, that I never got to meet because of cancer. A close friend that has so much of her life to live. My best friend's sibling. The point is, I have seen the effect cancer has on a family. It's difficult, but every dollar raised supports these families or goes to research for a cure.

No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.

Think about the impact we can make together! My school raised over $50 000 last year! Hopefully through your help we can try to beat that.
