Cancer is something that we all come across at some point in our life. Relay for life is an opportunity for all of us to spark change together.

Cancer runs through my family. Three of my grandparents were diagnosed with cancer and lived through it. Cancer is scary, not everyone is lucky enough to say that their three grandparents lived through cancer. In Canada, cancer is alarmingly present and is one of the leading causes of death. Relay for life is a chance for us all to unite together to raise awarness for cancer.

To my family, this is an opportunity to give back and to help better cancer research with every penny.
