At the age of only 15 years old cancer has already impacted my life in too many ways. Just this past year my Dad was diagnosed with Non Hogdkin's lymphoma, I am grateful to say he is now luckily in remission and doing well. Prior to my Dad's diagnosis, I watched one of my best friends battle Leukemia for 5 long years and although she put up a very strong fight, unfortunately Julia left us just before her 17th birthday. When I heard my school was holding Relay for Life I was more than happy to participate and fundraise for a cause that is very personal to me. I'm using Relay for Life to continue the fight for my Dad, Julia and anyone else that may be impacted by cancer.
