The Canadian Cancer Society and this event have a very deep meaning for me. With my own personal experience with Cancer through my Mom's journey and the fact that nearly half of Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, I’m more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease.

My family and friends have been affected. I am not sure if anyone can say that Cancer hasn't touched their life in some way, shape, or form. Unfortunately, my Mom had a very rare form of Bladder Cancer. As a result, not a lot was known and there weren't a lot of treatment options available to her. Almost five years ago, my Mom lost her battle with Cancer. I am committed to doing my part in ensuring fewer people need to experience the tragic loss that I have by raising money for Cancer research. 

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $10, $20, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
