My grandpa who was known in our family as 'Pops' loved wearing funny dad joke shirts, travelling the world, drinking Dr. Pepper and of course his family. Pops was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2014. He underwent surgery to remove his tumour and experienced some life-threatening complications during the surgery but luckily he pulled through! In 2012 Pops was diagnosed with liver disease and unfortunately lost his battle with his end-stage liver disease in December of 2021. He was the best grandpa anyone could've asked for!

Please help me reach my fundraising goal. No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help ensure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery, or a patient has access to support services when they need it most.
