#WhyIRelay:

On May 31, my school will be participating in our 8th Relay for Life youth event. For several years now I've been the lead teacher helping to make this event possible. It's an incredibly rewarding experience to work with so many students who are willing to give their time and energy for such an important cause.

500 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer today, which means that one more will hear the words “you have cancer” by the time you finish reading this.

That’s not ok to me so I am doing something about it. I am fighting to create a world where no Canadian fears cancer. Through Relay For Life, we can fund Canada’s most promising research and vital support services for cancer patients and their families.

I Relay for those who can’t. So donate for me, yourself, your friends or your family, but please, just donate. Thanks in advance for your support.
