Hi!

My name is Grace Disney. Cancer changed my life at 10 years old when I was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia typically found in adults, on my birthday. I went through challenges no child should have to live through and live with. As a survivor, Relay is really hits home for me. Actively taking steps towards improving lives of those affected by cancer, is a precious thing that we can all be a part of. We can band together as a community for Relay for Life to support the Canadian Cancer Society and fight for a future where others don’t have to go through the journey that is a cancer diagnosis.

With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, our team is more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease. Our families and friends could be affected. And that makes it personal to all of us. 

Please help us reach our fundraising goal for Relay For Life.  It doesn’t matter how small the step, it makes a difference. Not only for those living with cancer now, but for those remembering and honouring those we’ve lost. A donation of $25, $50 or $100 could help make sure a team of researchers has the resources they need to make a life-saving discovery or a patient has access to support services when they need it most. The treatment they saved my life was approved two months before my diagnosis... if it were not for the genoristy of others, it is unprecedented where my life would've gone.
