I'm reaching out to you on a personal note.

In the last 4 years I have been diagnosed with cancer twice, but because of the amazing systems in place on PEI and the incredible testing that takes place across Canada, we have been able to detect it early and deal with it through surgery.

Unfortunately many others are not so lucky and find themselves in a constant battle of treatments and inhumane procedures just to survive.

As one of the lucky ones it's my goal to bring awareness and raise much needed funds, through ' 'Relay for life" so that we can keep testing earlier and earlier and give more Cancer carriers the chance to live healthy lives with the ones they love.
