Hi there, I'm Alexandra Ly and I am the Marketing Captian here at Aldershot High School's Relay for Life event and I relay for my mother.  She was diagnosed with an early stage of Colon Cancer but was able to have it removed with the help of surgery.  Thankfully, she was able to recover quickly allowing her to return to her joyful self. 

Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky as my mother, some are diagnosed during the stronger stages of Cancer.  With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we’re more determined than ever to help change the future of this disease.  Our families and friends could be affected and that makes it personal to all of us.

Please help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000.  No matter how much you donate, every dollar goes a long way.  A donation of $25, $50, $100 or even a couple of cents can help ensure a team of researchers that have the resources they need to make a life-changing discovery or allowing a patient to have access to support services when they need it most.
