I'm a cancer survivor now running from Montréal to Québec city on May 20th, raising money for the relay for life in June. I usually run marathons to raise money but do to Covid I had to be creative.
this year a young girl named Jasmine who is 8 years old , is my focuse for running. She is battling a brain cancer and I want to make her proud. Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join me in taking action to help create a world where no Canadian has to fear this disease.
I’m determined to make a difference by participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life. This is a nationwide event that brings people together to celebrate survivors, honour those we’ve lost and show that no one has to face cancer alone. By making a donation, you can help fund Canada’s most promising research, vital support services for patients and their families, and other important work that could change the future of cancer.
I hope you’ll show your support, and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Relay For Life – it was a huge success! Our website is accepting donations until August 31. Keep fundraising to support Canadians facing cancer – they need us year-round.
