Hi Everyone,
Thanks for stopping by!
"It's a stage 3 colon cancer." Those were the words i heard from the doctor on August 19, 2023.
I quickly had surgery to remove the mass and that was later followed by 4 rounds of chemotherapy. I have been in remission and cancer free since January 22nd of this year.
I am so grateful and thankful for all of the treatment and care i have received from the doctors and nurses throughout my cancer journey.
Nearly half of Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means almost half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join me in taking action to help give people with cancer the help and support they need to lead more fulfilling lives.
I’m determined to make a difference by participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life. This is a nationwide event that brings people together to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost and show that no one has to face cancer alone. By making a donation, you improve the lives of all those affected by cancer through world-class research, transformative advocacy and compassionate support.
I hope you’ll show your support, and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you!
