Nearly half of Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means almost half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join me in taking action to help give people with cancer the help and support they need to lead more fulfilling lives.
I’m determined to make a difference by participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life. This is a nationwide event that brings people together to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost and show that no one has to face cancer alone. By making a donation, you improve the lives of all those affected by cancer through world-class research, transformative advocacy and compassionate support.
In March 2023 I lost my wife Laurie Pembleton after her Courageous 8 year fight against Breast Cancer. I have also lost my best friend, My father, my Aunt and my Cousin to Cancer. This year I was diagnosed with Melenoma and will have a second surgery to see if it has spread to my Lymph nodes and will most likely be starting some sort of treatment.
I hope you’ll show your support, and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you!
