Nearly half of Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That means almost half of our family and friends will hear the words “you have cancer” at some point in their lives. Join us so we can give people with cancer the help and support they need to lead more fulfilling lives.

Cancer is a life changing event that impacts not only yourself, but each of your loved ones.  It hits overnight, hijacking your life as you know it and leaving you with a challenge that requires others to help on an ongoing basis.  Whether one considers the disease or the treatment, one is left to accept both loss and grief as part of the process.  Coming together for the Relay for Life not only allows us to celebrate life but gives us the opportunity to take a stand and do something.  To capture the Spirit of:  Faith that a cure can be found, Hope that it will bring relief soon, and Charity through our sacrifice of time, effort and donations.

Everyone on our team has their own reasons for participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life, but one thing unites us all: a belief that we can change the future of cancer forever.
