Dear Family and Friends:
I am once again participating in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life. This year's relay will be a difficult one for our Team, the Rays of Hope, as we lost one of our beloved teammates and friend, Brendan Kane on January 30th of this year. On June 8th, I shall walk in memory of Brendan, and many of my friends and family. I shall also be walking for many of my friends and family who still courageously battle this disease.
Seventeen years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Great medical treatment has allowed me to live cancer free. Last year I faced a scare, when after a routine mammogram I was diagnosed with pre-cancerous cells, and underwent treatment. I was very fortunate again. Great medical intervention neutralized the threat and has enabled me to participate in the Canadian Cancer Relay for Life on June 8th.
Each dollar raised will improve the lives of all those affected by cancer. Your support will help fund Canada's most promising research, vital support services for patients and their families and caregivers and other important work that could change the future of cancer. Each dollar will improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
I hope you will show your support, and help me reach my goal.
CANCER CHANGES EVERYTHING. SO CAN YOU!!!
Thank you!
Donna Hudson, Team member
